He has recaptured some- / thing of the atmosphere of this historic hostelry, built by the / United Empire Loyalists in 1783 to provide a social and commer- / cial centre for the townsmen and to combine rest and relaxation / for early travellers. This famous old inn was demolished in 1853. / The Sixth of a Series
