Colour lithograph of unknown provenance. Image depicts a west view of the city of Toronto, seen from on top of a roof. In the centre on a roof are two standing figures and a seated artist. There is a busy street on the left, with numerous shops including R. Barwick Confectioners, Paterson's, Benjamin & Broters, and Capreol's Commerical Sale Rooms.

Note on the state of conservation:

Print is dirty and has several vertical marks from creasing.

Inscription, lower margin, manuscript pencil: [handwritten notations of some of the depicted places, including "Jesse Ketchum house"]
