The drawing is of a woman and her young child receiving a blessing? from a figure dressed in ancient costume while men and women in various period dress look on. This work is with a collection of drawings used to illustrate "Northland Trails" by S.C. Ells, published by Burns & MacEarchan; 1956. This book is a collection of verses, short stories and illustrations, laid out for the most part in the North West Territories., This illustration is found on page 74.
