The print is very discoloured, it looks brown. It appears to have a varnish that has discoloured. There are noticeable surface cracks likely in the varnish/paper layer, found on the l. side, c.l. and l.l. There are a number of small losses in the image u.l., and also at the edges u.l., u.r., l.r., b., and l.l. edges. The colour and details are weakened by the overall colour but inscriptions are still strong and clear although some are very tiny. The whole work is laid down to a linen backing and attached to a wooden stretcher. There is an older Public Archives label on the verso, l.l. on the stretcher, inscribed in pencil, [on the vertical] : St John N.B. / by John Miles.
