The drawing depicts a man wearing a modified SOurth American gaucho costume. The costume was designed for Brian Farnon, Denny Farnon, Denny Vaughan and Ralph Wickbergh who were singers in the South American number of 'The Army Show"., This costume design was used in 'The Army Show' presented in the Victoria Theatre, Toronto and later toured in 1943-44., April 1975 - condition at accessioning : the drawing is soiled and discoloured from the glue. The mount is creased, soiled and has pinholes in each corner., When accessioned the drawing was laid down with glue on grey paper. The mount has a red pencil border framing the drawing.
