The drawing depicts a woman in a yellow, blue and red South American fiesta costume. The costume was designed for Gwen Rogers, Bette Mason, Dorris Shepherd and Jean Gallant who were dancers in the South American number in 'The Army Show'. There is an inscription sheet bearing 7 swatches pinned to the mount., This costume design was used in 'The Army Show' presented in the Victoria Theatre, Toronto and later toured in 1943-44., April 1975, condition at accessioning - the drawing is soiled and discoloured and buckled from the glue. The mount is soiled, creased and has pinholes in each corner. The inscription sheet is soiled and creased., When accessioned the drawing was laid down with glue on grey paper. The mount has a red pencil border framing the drawing.
