The drawing depicts a modified bolero designed for Stan Carruthers, Erskine Jones, Peter Mews and Stan Tasker, dancers in the South American number of 'The Army Show'., This costume design was used in 'The Army Show' presented in the Victoria Theatre, Toronto and later toured in 1943-44., April 1975 - condition at accessioning - the drawing is creased across the centre, soiled, smudged and discoloured from the glue. The mount is soiled and creased., When accessioned the drawing was laid down with glue on grey paper. The mount has a red pencil border framing the drawing.
