This has been removed from its original support and was mounted on to another support for an exhibition., The drawing depicts a road through a tall forest in B.C. A wagon and figure can be seen on the road., The drawing is reproduced as an engraving by E. Whymper in Canadian Pictures by the Marquis of Lorne, frontispiece., The work is glued down on all sides. Each corner is turned and the work is buckled in the areas where glue was used. There is a tear on left side centre. The work and the mount are soiled. There are three drawings (acc. nos. 1974-29-4 to 6) laid down on the same mount.
