This print was published in "Collections des Portraits des Généraux, Ministres, et Magistrats... (Paris, 1781), a set of portrait engravings based on drawings taken from life. Arnold's portrait was done in Philadelphia before his defection to the British., The portrait shows Arnold in profile., The work depicts a bust length portrait in profile to the left set in a circular frame., The work is soiled and foxed. There is a stain left edge and a surface tear u.c. There has been some inpainting with pencil on u.c. border.
