Subject depicts a pencil sketch of a high suspension bridge and a lower broken bridge. A train car is vertical in the water below the broken bridge. Numerous figures in foreground, on parts of the broken bridge and on the higher suspension bridge. Bits of the train are floating in the water., Condition: page was once folded, This sketch does not correspond precisely with Gregory prints of the subject., Provenance; Sotheby's #222 (date?), Preservation copy photographs, both b&w and colour transparency, are held in the Loans and Exhibitions area of Preservation Branch.
