Program about flying, featuring interviews of people who fly out of Toronto Island Airport. CBC announcer Rex Loring does double duty as interviewer and interviewee, talking about his own experiences as a pilot. The interviewees include: Jerry [Thornton], the assistant general manager of the airport; George Morwood, pilot and chief flying instructor for Central Airways; Central Airways founder Bob [Wong]; pilot Walter Roberts; husband-and-wife pilots Hugh and Helen Prowse; Leaside Mayor Lloyd Dickinson; Dickinson's son; Wally Bradd; Bob Heath; [Frank] Ross; and Paul Schreider. Loring is shown flying over Toronto. The pilots discuss various aspects of flying, the effect of weather on flying and their interest in flying. [Wong] talks about Central Airways, which he founded in 1945. Also interviewed is the leader of the 700 Air Cadet Squadron and an air cadet instructor. The following aircraft are shown: Myers bi-plane; Beechcraft Travelair; Cessna 185 Skywagon; Piper Cherokee; Piper Comanche; Champion Tri-traveller and a Piper Apache. A woman takes off in a helicopter. To close the program, host Al Boliska rides off on a bicycle.
