Discoloured. Tape along top edge, verso. Canada Steamship Lines stamp embossed l.l. This plate is one of the few numbered ones. It is not listed in the index of our copy of Vol. I of Canadian Scenery., Bartlett's Canadian prints were originally published in Nathaniel P. Willis' Canadian Scenery, published in London in 1840 and republished in several editions thereafter. Most first editions have only English captions while subsequent editions have tri-lingual captions.
