On'Hi Art' board. Head to waist view of Lortie. He has medium length hair, and wears a green shirt. Viger wears a blue suit, has short hair, and would appear to be in his forties., Since no cameras were allowed in court, this illustration was one used on the television news to illustrate the progress of the trial., Bernard Lortie and Michel Viger. - Bernard Lortie, 19, a student, was called as a witness against Paul Rose. He refused to testify. He was himself facing a charge of kidnapping and murder, and was later sentenced for 20 years for kidnapping. His murder trial occured later, during the 1972 assises. Viger was found guilty of renting the house in St. Luc, Québec, for the Rose brothers to hide out in.
