The cartoon depicts Paul Martin sitting cross-legged opposite Ho Chi Minh who is eating the leg of the Peace Bird offered to him by Canada. Behind Ho Chi Minh is a basket filled with the bones of "Former Peace Birds." Since the artist worked for the Winnipeg Free Press it is very possible that this cartoon appeared in it., Nov. 1975 - the work is slightly soiled. It is buckled over the entire surface. The drawing has been corrected in several areas with white correcting fluid., Artist file 707-19 and portrait file 204-287.
