Collection search - AE Victory Medal

The medal is attached by its ribbon to a black mount board with seven other medals.

NOTE: These medals were borrowed by the CWM in May 1996 for display with their permanent collection, where they remained until Dec. 2004, after extension requests were approved. At that time, LAC requested their return for examination and additional copying. Before their return to LAC, the CWM had asked if they could continue to exhibit these medals for at least another 5 years to which the LAC agreed. During the winter of 2010, the CWM asked to keep the medals on display for yet another 5 years. The medals were returned to LAC in Apr/'10 for digitization and examination before being returned to the CWM, where they will remain until the 1st week of June 2015.
