A bronze medal commemorating the life of Lothaire (or Lothair) of France. Lothaire ruled as King of West Francia from 954 until his death in 986 (though he and his son Louis co-ruled the kingdom for eight years when Louis was crowned king in 978).

The obverse side of the medal displays a bust of Lothaire by Armand Caqué.

The reverse side of the medal is engraved with a short history of Lothaire.
