A bronze medal commemorating the life of Clotaire IV (or Clothar IV), nineteenth King of France. He was "placed" on the throne by Charles Martel, Mayor of the Palace of Austrasia (in opposition of Chilperic II) and is often assumed not to be of Merovingian blood at all but a puppet used by Martel for his own political purposes.

The obverse side of this medal displays a bust of Clotaire IV by Armand Caqué.

The reverse side of this medal is engraved with a short history of Clotaire IV.
