The film begins with the intertitles, "The Town of Senlis." "The railway station.". Footage of the railway station building. Officers and porters view the damaged interior. "The Cathedral." A crowd is gathered about the door of the Cathedral. "A street in ruins." Shots of ruined buildings, including the Hotel-du-Nord. People passing by the camera. "Houses which the Germans separed (sp) were marked 'Good People Spare Then (sp) - 3/15 Hussars' ." Shot of writing on the door of a house. "One of the principal streets of Senlis." People pass by the camera with destroyed buildings in the background. A row of store fronts are seen; 'Garage de Bicyclettes', 'Rendez-vous des cyclistes', 'Articles Militaires'." "The Mill." Shot of the mill. "The Vice-Prefect's house." Shot of a house. "The wall in front of which the Germans shot hostages." Close-up of bullet holes in a cement wall. A damaged bridge. Church. People crossing a bridge into town. Soldiers digging graves for dead that lay nearby. "The bridge at Lizy-sur-Ourcq." Shot of a steam locomotive upended on a demolished bridge. "The remains of a 'Taube' aeroplane after Allies pursuit." Officers pose alongside the metal fuselage of a crashed German Taube fighter.

This title appears as no. 484 in the List of Slow Burning Pathéscope Films 5th Edition.~4. Listed as no. 457 in the List of non-flammable Pathéscope Films 4th Edition.~5. This title appears in the 1927 and 1931 Ontario Motion Picture Bureau catalogues under 4025 as, "A story of interesting incidents."~6. See also IDC 188462, and IDC 284419.~7. The head title graphic border/font and spelling mistake (see note 1. above) differ from the title under IDC 284700~8. Actuality footage over 50 years - copyright expired.
