Film which starts out with scenes of life aboard a French naval training ship. Potential French sailors undergo rigorous training, mostly on land, including boxing, rope climbing, running in circles, wrestling and training with rifles and bayonets. It also includes scenes, apparently from other films, of a sea battle, attacks, shelling on land and troops.

1. Identified in list of titles in Pathescope library as a 1-reel film.~2. The Ontario Motion Picture Bureau bought a copy of this film from Pathescope circa 1925.~3. Misidentified in some PDC cards as FRENCH NAVAL TRAINING.~ 4. Listed as Reel No. 913 in the Pathéscope of Canada Limited List of Slow-Burning Pathéscope Films (5th Edition).
