Accession consists of general administration of HAC Project, including correspondence of Executive Director (Bill Dean), SSHRC applications and negotiations. Files on Vol. II (19th century) and III (20th century) including editors' correspondence, general outlines for volumes, research for proposed plates, correspondence with researchers, draft preface, introduction, introductory essays and text for plates. Also research files on religion/education and telephones. Correspondence with U of T editors, les Presses de l'Université de Montréal, translators and contributing editors. Also minutes of meetings, production schedules, quarterly reports and publicity.
