A painting described on the work itself as "Prairie Schooner on the Cariboo Road" but this is more likely to be a view taken on the CPR Tote Road along the Illecillewaet River in the Selkirk Mountains, with Eagle and Uto Peaks, and Mount Sir Donald in the background, in the vicinity of the Rogers Pass [identification of the location of this view from an external patron, June 2010].
