"Adventures of Mr. Podge, on truculent Ensign. / Mr Podge receives a present and is hugely / delighted thereat / He thinks her well up to / his weight 15 stone / He tries her in harness and finds / she has a beautiful mouth / The Country being soft, he tries her at a snake fence and this is the result. / and he resolves never to try it again. / But after a week Mr Podge finds / that hay & corn cost money and / having received a good offer of / five dollars for her he sees her / fade from his view like a / beautiful dream".
