Image 35.600 x 55.300Scope and content:This watercolour was purchased along with a number of paintings, prints and drawings by Edward Roper and was catalogued as a Roper after it arrived at the Archives. A check of the dealer's bill (RG37, vol. 339, file 1929 103) reveals that it was sold to the Archives as a Friend (misspelled "Frend" on the bill).
