General note:

It appears that portions of the inscription have been erased or scrapped away. The other copy of this print (1991-45-1) includes the following: l.l. "Mary Anne Pinhey fecit" and l.r., "S. Straker, Lith; George Yard, London".

Custodial history:

This print was purchased for the Manoir Richelieu at the Sotheby auction held in London, England, on July 3, 1934. It came to the Archives in 1970 when the Manoir Richelieu collection or Coverdale collection was acquired by the Public Archives of Canada (now Library and Archives Canada).
