They plan to announce the engagement at her company's Christmas party. What Archie fails to mention is that Margot is only attempting to make her boss Kurt Bottweill jealous enough to finally marry her. At the party Kurt begins to make a seasonal toast when he dies, murdered with a poisoned drink. In the commotion the bartender, who is dressed as Santa, slips out. The police are called and begin to search for Santa. Meanwhile, Nero admits to Archie that he was Santa and that he had gone to the party to stop the announcement. Now Wolfe has to find the real killer before the police discover he was the bartender. Wolfe calls the members of Bottweill's staff together and proves Margot was the killer. She had killed Kurt because he had rejected her when she revealed her marriage plans.Language:EnglishNotes:Genre:POLICE/DETECTIVEDetailed holdings information: -
