General note:

This collection - really the remnants of a collection - reveals the variety and eclectic nature of antique and nostalgia collecting in Canada in the 1960s. Among the material is political and election ephemera, a 1968 poster for a bottle show, clippings and letters on summer camping at Temagami in 1905, church attendance and other cards, c.1880s, programmes for events including a 1958 beauty contest and a presentation of one of Queen Victoria's scarves of honour, a New Hampshire iron foundry letter book of 1838-1841, three 1930s game protection posters, and a party invitation in the formate of an architectual drawing, 1946.
