The first tape consists of excerpts of his favourite big band music, that of Guy Lombardo, as well as excerpts of an interview of Lombardo. The second tape, labelled "Cy Strange end of" consists of part of an interview of Cy Strange by Bill McNeil, about getting his start in radio, working as an announcer in Kirkland Lake, and recollections of people he knew in the broadcasting business, such as Jack Kent Cooke, Jack Dennett, Hugh Bartlett, and John Collingwood Reade.
