Series of reports about the confrontation between the Ontario Provincial Police and native people over the use of a native burial ground at Ipperwash Provincial Park. The crisis began to build when a group of Stony Point natives set up a camp in 1993 on part of Camp Ipperwash. In the summer of 1995, the natives used a school bus to crash the gates of the main area of the military base there, taking over the buildings and taking control from the Department of National Defence. On Labour Day weekend, a small group of natives occupied Ipperwash Provincial Park. One of the native protesters, Dudley George, was shot and killed by the police.
