The following stories are reviewed: a British warship carrying nuclear weapons is met by anti-nuclear Green Peace activists in Boston Harbour to protest nuclear arms proliferation; the Earth First movement launched its campaign against the logging of redwood in California; repression in the Cameroun relating to demands for a multi-party system; Liberal European Parliament members call for a negotiated peace in the Middle East; the European Community position on sanctions for South Africa; American and South African support for Namibia; acknowledgement of troubles relating to the Peace Plan for Cambodia; request by an independence party in New Caledonia for observer status at a South Pacific Forum meeting; and arrest of members of an Australian rain forest group during a demonstration against a large Australian corporation responsible for importing timber from Southeast Asia.~Interview with Mary Beth Reissen, a representative of Pax Christi, a Catholic United Nations non-governmental organization, and chairwoman of a committee devoted to disarmament. She discusses her ideas about the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty being worked on at the United Nations. Radioactive waste disposal is also touched on.~Public Service Announcements.
