Rob Parker hosts the program on "Parent-Finders", a Vancouver agency which assists adult adoptees to trace and locate their natural parents and families. In the studio Joan Van Stone, National Organizer of "Parent-Finders" and Kathryn [Ryder] a social-worker with Vancouver Resources Board, discuss the practical and psychological factors involved in the process, and the purpose and function of the agency. Adoptees June Young, who works for the agency, and Gary Cowley relate personal experiences; sisters Susan Harvey and Rosemary Stagg, sussessfully reunited by "Parent-Finders", use the program to try and locate an older brother and sister, adopted as young children. Parker also interviews Paul and Audrey Grescoe who provide insights into the question of reunion from the adoptive parents' point of view. They also discuss their research on the service of liason between adoptees and their natural parents being provided by Provincial Governments rather than by private agencies such as "Parent-Finders". <30mn>
