This valley was recently reclaimed from being a dust bowl, through the use of the hydro-electric power from the Bridge River Power Development, to pump water up some 300 feet from the nearby Fraser River for irrigation. Interviews include pioneers of the district, who now compare this area with the world famous Okanagan Valley of southern B.C.
