She removes them from the oven, puts them on a plate, and presents them to her husband (John R. Cumpson). The results are so dire that he tries to throw them out of the window when she is not looking. Presently he leaves for his office, a theatrical booking agency, where he suffers violent stomach pains. She follows him to his office and drops off a box of her biscuits. The film then cross cuts between the office, where various and sundry actors seeking work (one is a ten-year old played by Mary Pickford) eat the biscuits and suffer for it, and the home, where three tradesmen help themselves and suffer a similar fate. The actors then follow the couple home where they find the tradesmen comatose. Belatedly she tries the biscuits herself then throws them in the air to general applause. <5mn 37s>Language:SilentNotes:Genre:COMEDYDetailed holdings information: -
