The following items are included in this segment of the MAN TO MAN series: An editorial on boxing audiences by James Bannerman; an essay by Hugh Garner; a report on car sales; a poem read by American author Robert Paul Smith; and John Drainie, with a selection of dramatized readings. James Bannerman, who as a young man was a professional welter weight boxer, comments on the ignorance of fight audiences who allow their lust for blood to blind them to the finer aspects of the sport. A dramatised essay by Hugh Garner with Jim Doohan, Ruth Springford and Jean Caller, as cast members. [Henry Allen] reports the latest car sales figures; road surfaces fitted with reflective lighting; and the successful testing of an airless tire. Robert Paul Smith, author of Where Did You Go? Out. What Did You Do? Nothing., reads the title poem from his book And Another Thing. John Drainie introduces a sequence of dramatized readings which he calls The Voices of Men. Drainie suggests that they represent the muscle, the heart and the mind of man. The readings are as follows: The Quality of Viscousness by [Michael Brennan], Canadian. Love's Bitter Mystery by Thomas Wolfe. An entry from the diary of [Dr. Michiko Hychaya], in which he describes the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and its immediate effect on the people and the city. Albert Einstein: a talk given to students at the California Institute of Technology in 1931 on the misuse of applied science. The cast is not identified. <1h>
