Footage of Second World War battle action, mostly in the air, as well as scenes in factories. Footage is an assembly of sound and silent shots, with the fragmentary narration shifting between English and French. Music and sound effects are intermittent also. It shows: bombing raids; aircraft getting shot at; damaged airplanes out of control; German officers examining wreck of an RAF plane; men controller the movements of fighters in the air; factory workers; excerpt of speech by Franklin Delano Roosevelt about efforts to increase aircraft production in 1942; men and women at work in aircraft factories; convoy going out to sea; planes in sky; airfield; air force ground crew and pilots; actuality of RAF Ferry Command briefing; after the briefing man pulls stockings out of a paper bag and laughingly shows them to other men; planes readied for takeoff and then the planes take off; man now in uniform waves stockings at the planes as they take off; aerial views; fighters and bombers; flares; clouds; crew inside plane; convoy of ships viewed from overhead; civilians looking up at sky; ship under attack intercut with views of plane in sky; a plane landing; and women at work in a factory. <10mn>

Soundtrack is a mix of fragmentary English and French audio narration, most of it unintellible due to audio crackle and brevity.~4.
