Picnic for Soldiers. The Montreal YMCA and Kiwanis Club sponsor a picnic outing for sick soldiers. Soldiers, nurses and civilians arrive at picnic grounds in decorated cars. Nurses play the fiddle and piano while other nurses care for the soldiers. A circus dog dances and climbs a pole. Nurses dance and give out the food.~Victory Loan Parade. The November 12, 1918 Victory Loan is launched in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A huge parade involving Canadian infantry units, the cavalry and the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC).~Victory of the Ancre. Shots of Canadian soldiers behind the lines.~WAACs March to St Paul's to Attend Special Service For Women War Workers. Members of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps march up the cathedral's steps. The Lord Mayor Horarce Marshall and other dignitaries are present.~Jack in the Making, The Training Ship HMS Arethusa at work. Cadets drill.~London, Model Tank. Tank made in tribute to Lord Roberts is driven through the streets.~Yorkshire Presents Battleplane to Newfoundland. Mistress Cutter christens the plane at Sheffield.~Tavern for War Workers. The Duke of Connaught opens the Enfield Hostel. The Duke inspect the hostel. Longshot of male and female workers. Male workers enjoy lunch and a beer. <7mn 10s>
