This film gives information about how saving kitchen fats and grease helps the war effort. This Walt Disney animation features Minnie Mouse and her dog Pluto. Minnie Mouse is about to give the dog some bacon grease when the radio commentator tells to the housewives of America that they should save their cooking fat to aid in the war effort. Millions of pounds of fats are thrown away each year, but they can be used to make glycerine that is used in turn to make explosives. Frying pan grease is shown being thrown away. Grease from a pan is turned into ammunition. Large missiles are shown. The radio commentator then discusses how to store the grease properly and where to take the grease. Patriotic neighbourhood meat dealers will pay for it. Pluto takes the grease to the meat dealer. Close-up of a sticker that says "Official Fat Collection Station" is shown on the outside window of the meat shop. Pluto leaves the store walking proudly with an American Flag attached to his tail. <3mn 18s>
