Three prints entitled "Retraite de l'Escadre Angloise sous les Ordres de l'Amiral Arbuthnot..."; "Prise du Vaifseau Anglois l'Expriment en Amerique..."; "Combat de la Frégate Française la Surveillante...". Works by unknown artists ca.1779.
This is a retrospective accession. The information about it is found in RG 37 "C" Series, Volume 334, File 1920-78. The works are three of a group of prints purchased from George L. Goodman for 50. On the verso of each of the works is inscribed a catalogue date of 13/1/22 and a note "from Mr. Goodman".
