On 10 March 1989 an Air Ontario F-28 Fokker jet airplane crashed after takeoff from Dryden, Ontario, killing 23 people. Flight attendant Sonia Hartwick was the only one of four crew members on Air Ontario Flight 363 to survive. The federal government appointed the commission of inquiry on 29 March 1989, headed by Justice Virgil Moshansky. The inquiry lasted 18 months, with 168 days of sittings and concluded on 24 January 1991.~This consists of coverage from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., after which there is a break in the session. The hearings resume at 11:25 a.m. to approximately noon, continuing from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., 3:54 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 4:25 p.m. to approximately 6 p.m. The witnesses are David Berezuk, Gary Jackson, [Brian Adams], and [Brian Perozak].
