Compilation of drama productions by members of the Arts and Letters Club in Toronto. The first play is one of the Chester Mysteries (originally performed by the guilds of Chester, England between the 13th and 15th centuries) performed at the Club on 16 and 17 December 1933. Music by Healey Willan, starring: Ernest Morgan, Dick Wagner, Basil Morgan, Walter Bowles, Elaine Wodson, Lorna Mclean, Nella Jefferies, Elton Johston; Ivor Lewis, Ernest Dale, and Joe McDougall. This is followed by: "The Poacher" performed in April 1935, and directed by Edgar Stone; "Michael" by Miles Malleson performed in 1934; "The Landlord of the Inn" by Joe McDougall performed at the Club's Christmas dinner in 1933, by H.E. Hitchman, Alfred Chapman, Ivor Lewis, Geoff Hatton, Herb Secord, Harvey Doney, Owen Staples, Billy Alexander, Tom Pomphrey, Sammy Sampson, Ernest Dale, and Dick Wagner; "The Marquise" by Noel Coward, directed by Edgar Stone, and performed in 1934; and "Orientale" featuring a vocal quartette, dancers and a magician. The film concludes with footage of special guests to the Club including Noel Coward, principles of the D'Oyly Carte Company, Martyn Greene and Sir Dan Godfrey, Barry Morse, Keith Winters, and Richard Harrison.
