Visual material, including postcards and photographs, relating to a number of Ontario families, which are grouped into four main "fonds": the first is the Dale-Ryckman-Borris family collection; the second is the John Beverley Robinson family collection; the third is the Reverend Jasper Wilson and John W. Eedy families collections; and the fourth is the Kendrick family collection. Included are photomechanical process and "real photo" postcards, carte-de-visite and studio or cabinet photographs, as well as other photographic and artistic material. Dale, Ryckman and Borris families were related to each other by marriage. This fonds consists of 5 packets of postcards and real postcards, mostly addressed to Mrs. Frederica Dale (nee Ryckman) of St. Mary's, Ontario, or to Miss Emmaline Dale of Toronto, Ontario, and 1 packet of photographs of the Ryckman family of Cornwall and Kingston, Ontario and Coaticook, Quebec, as well as 3 single photographs and 1 greeting card. Wilson/Eedy fonds consists of 22 family photographs and 11 postcards of Tobermory, Goderich, and Lake of Bays, Ontario. The John Beverley Robinson collection includes 3 envelopes of photographs, including 8 of the interior of the Robinson House in Toronto, 18 Robinson family photographs, including cartes-de-visite of John H. LeFroy, William Robinson, John Beverley Robinson, Lady Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Mrs. James Strachan, and W. C. Robinson; and 3 photographs of "Sleepy Hollow". Among the photographers are Palmer, William J. Topley, Eldridge Stanton, Hill & Saunders, William Armstrong, and Bruce. The Kendrick family fonds includes photo postcards of Escott United Church and Kendrick family at cottage on Charleston Lake, and photographs of the Kendrick House in Athens, and the post office in Forfar, Ontario, 2 photographs of Silver Islet, Ontario by Douglas Kendirck, 1926, and 1 photo of Dr. Munro's House, Maxville, Ontario.
