Opening intertitle reads "The Falls of Niagara present to the world one of Nature's greatest marvels - a sublime spectacle from which the passage of time has not detracted." Film begins with an establishing shot of the entire Falls region, starting at the American Falls and panning right to hold on the Canadian Falls. The Canadian Falls, or Horseshoe, is first spotlighted with wide shots from various angles, focusing not so much on "height or width, but the feeling of colossal power." Spotlight on the American Falls follows, described as "almost delicate and fragile - one long lace-work curtain of woven foam." Shots of the American Falls from different angles are shown, with groups of people standing at the base of the Falls to demonstrate scale. The film suggests that the "most awe-inspiring view" of the Falls is secured from the docks of the Maid of the Mist, where passengers wear hooded raincoats to guard against the spray from the waterfall. From the Maid of the Mist, clear views of the Cave of the Winds and the American Falls are shown. The river below the Falls is also considered, as the mile-long rapids converge at the famous Whirlpool, which is best observed from the aerial cableway that is shown crossing the shores of the river. Queen Victoria Park, on the Canadian side, is shown with its gardens, paths and flowered walkways, making the Falls "more pleasant for man's enjoyment." Final intertitle reads "Flow on forever, in thy glorious robe/ Of terror and beauty./Yea flow on/Unfathomed and resistless... - Sigourney". Final shot shows the Horsehoe Falls as seen from Queen Victoria Park, with cars and tourists gathering to appreciate the view. <8mn 20s>
