This film was filmed at the New York Opera House when Avramenko held a Ukrainian Folk Balllet concert. The network of Avramenko Dancing Schools were started in Canada, with a large percentage of the performers being Canadian. This film was used as a teaching vehicle for the Avramenko Schools of Dance. The film is an important contribution to Ukrainian Canadiana. The concert, held at the Metropolitan Opera on April 25, 1931, included the dances titled: Dance Gymnastics, Metelitaz Winding, Kolomeyka for Two Paus, Mopak in Circle, Arkann from Kolomeya, Kochohorra, Hopak Parubotzky (Avramenko solo), Kozachok Solo, Chumak, Kolomeyka Forward, and Hayeuka-Easter Roundle. <20mn>
