Amateur footage of a road and ESNA written on a rather modern looking building in a town, possibly Luxor. The fez worn by some of the men indicates that this is Egypt. Other men are wearing turbans and long white robes. The men with fez are dressed in European suits. Inside a building with a wide double door opening on a large river is a man dressed in the garb of a priest next to a couple wearing European clothes. Footage is seen of the river and of two camels with their drivers. Back in the city, men are walking in the middle of the street. On a wall is written "KOM-OMBO". Children are seen in long black robes wearing white veils with young boys in turbans. A very dark man in a long black robe runs away when he sees the camera. The camera then follows a young man along the street who looks a bit surprised that this is happening.~The intertitle "Shellal to Haifa by Sudan Government Steamship" is seen on the screen. There is the image of a mosque and a crowd. A second title "Philae" is seen and footage is of a kind of building in the sea and the coast with sparse buildings along the river. Men on the street are seen after the intertitle "Khartoum to the Red Sea Hills for Ibex and Kudo 1929". With the intertitles "Suakin" and "Shops at Suakin" people are seen in the street. The intertitle "Our Motor Transport at Suakin" introduces footage of old cars. Intertitles explain the following footage: "Tokam, We Change to Camel Transport"; "Breaking Camps - Camels Coming in to be Loaded"; "Coming into Camp After Heavy Rain"; "Posing Fuzzies Guides to Mount Dambob Where We Found Kudu"; "Magboub Tries to Make the Fuzzies Put Up the Tent"; "Bringing the Ibex into Camp"; "Fuzzies Rejoicing Over Ibex for the Greater Glory of Mahoub"; "Vulture Watching Ibex Being Skinned"; "Return Down to Khan Masheit" with the camel caravan carrying luggage; and "Desert Lilies Two Hours After Rain".
