Recording of broadcast by the World Federation of Trade Unions on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding. The history of the WFTU, its international membership, its achievements, and its leaders are chronicled in the broadcast. Also heard are brief excerpts of speeches and comments by its members, some of which are in languages other than English. Side two of the original recording contains an interview of C.S. Jackson on the history of the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers union in the 1940s and 50s.
