It travels from east to west and to the Arctic. The footage is accompanied by an original music score by Neil Chotem, Camera Canada Suite, performed by the CBC Symphony Orchestra. The documentary was filmed in all four seasons over two years, when filming at low altitudes was practical. Approximately 70 percent of the film was shot from the air at about 200 feet.
