Description:

Documentary about the aerobatic demonstration team, The Snowbirds.~The program begins with try-outs at Air Demonstration Headquarters in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan - the home of the Snowbirds.~Narrator Leslie Nielsen recalls the early days of Canada's first demonstration teams, including footage of the Golden Hawks and the Golden Centennaires.~Next is footage from the cockpit of manoeuvers training with the Snowbirds in a sequence of breathtaking aerobatics. The precision and discipline of the team, in preparation for the upcoming show circuit, is captured in colourful, fast-paced clips - giving the viewer the experience of actually being there.~The documentary culminates with a private exhibition for the alumni, family and friends of the Snowbirds of the last 20 years. <49mn 50s>
