Ce film a été produit par Chris Chapman qui avait travaillé pour la compagnie Crawley et leur était encore associé lorsqu'il l'a réalisé. William (Bill) Mason était également à l'époque un employé de Crawley.~Une note au générique se lit comme suit: Ce film a été tourné pour le compte de la Compagnie Pétrolière Impériale Ltée. En guise de contribution à l'avancement culturel du Canada, la compagnie a aussi fourni les fonds nécessaires aux fouilles effectuées à l'emplacement Miller.~Le film raconte la découverte des restes d'un village indien vieux d'environ 1000 ans. L'une des plus importantes trouvailles archéologiques au Canada, elle a fourni aux historiens un lien entre les tribus des bois qui ont parcouru le Canada pendant des milliers d'années et l'Iroquois célèbre rencontré par les premiers explorateurs. La découverte du village pourrait aider à expliquer l'origine de la culture iroquoise et combler un vide qui, depuis longtemps, provoque la curiosité des archéologues. <18mn>
