In white letters on a red background around the edge of the pin is inscribed "Where the scriptures speak we speak". There is an image of a menorah at the centre of the pin.

Inscribed on the white ribbon is "Doctrinal/Congress/Canoton, Ohio/August 3-9, 1915".

The ribbon is slightly ripped near the top, fraying at the bottom and very badly discoloured. The pin has some surface dirt on recto and manufacturer's label on verso.
