Program for the 6th Victory Loan, from His Majesty's Theatre in Montreal.~Chorus - sings toast to Air Corps.~Lucy Monroe - makes speech, and sings Lover.~Percy Faith and Victory Loan orchestra: Besame Mucho.~Gail Patrick reads a soldier's letter to his wife, paying tribute to Canadian Hospital personnel, and introduces Major [Raoul Odet], from Quebec, the writer of the letter, who has no forearms.~Barry Wood sings: Stand up and fight (Carmen Jones) and introduces Richard Rodgers.~Richard Rodgers plays the piano, and talks with Barry Wood, giving highlights of his career.~Percy Faith conducts selections from Oklahoma, sung by Barry Wood, Lucy Monroe and chorus.~Lucy Monroe: Speak to me of love.~Percy Faith conducts: My shining hour.~Gail Patrick introduces Kay Francis and Walter Abel. Walter Abel reads poem by Noel Coward, on bombers over England. Kay Francis describes how flyers toast to a missing comrade and burn his name in the ceiling.~Orchestra: United nations marches - from Russia, United States, Free France, Great Britain. The program is presented by the National War Finance Committee. The show features the foloowing stars from Hollywood: Walter Abel; Gail Patrick; Kay Francis; and Lucy Monroe, the Star-Spangled Girl. <1h>
