Archival footage includes World War II battles, concentration camps, post-war occupied Holland and a newly liberated Holland. Interviews of Canadians involved in the liberation of Holland include Zenon Michalski from the Polish Armoured Division, Arthur Bath of the B.C. Dragoons and Ray Smith of the 9th Field Engineers. Elly Walraven, a citizen of Holland, describes being physically forced by Nazi officers to watch an SS parade.
